Rye

Rye is an important crop used for food, technical and feed purposes with a stable potential on the international market.

Rye contains about 60% starch, up to 17% protein, up to 1.5% fat, vitamins В1, В2, РР, Е.

The quality of rye is specified in GOST R 53049-2008.

Rye of grade 1, 2, 3 is used for milling.

Rye of grade 4 is used for technical purposes. Large volumes of rye are processed into starch, spirit and molasses.

The quality of feed rye is regulated by GOST R 54079-2010.
